Martin Foot Specialists has been caring for our patient’s feet for over 30 years. We want to help our patient overcome challenges and treat conditions so our patients can have the foot and health wellness they deserve.

Meet Dr. Martin

Dr. Martin graduated from Southern Illinois University where he majored in Biology with a minor in chemistry. He graduated from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1990. He completed his post graduate training in Chicago Illinois. After practicing and helping in the training of surgical residents in the Chicagoland area, he moved to the Shoals area in 1997 and opened his office in Muscles Shoals. In 1999 he moved his practice to Sheffield. Dr. Martin is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has been very active in his profession on a state level. Dr. Martin has held the following positions:

President – Alabama Podiatric Medical Association 2007-2011
Chairman Alabama Podiatric Medical Association Scientific Educational Committee-2008-2011
Chairman Alabama Podiatric Medical Association Legislative Committee- 2008-2011
Chairman Alabama Podiatric Medical Association Health Committee-2008-2011
Co-Chairman Alabama Podiatric Medical Association Insurance Committee-2008-2011.

The 3 previous years he spent as the Vice-president of the Association and Committees. He likes to stay active by working out and holds a 3rd degree black belt in taekwondo. His greatest pleasure is spending time with his wife and family. He has established his practice on Christian and family values.
